CORPORATE ENVIRONMENTAL POLICY

Environmental issues are of significant importance these days.

Many organizations though do not have a formal Environmental Policy.  A Corporate Environmental Policy conveys the importance of environmental efforts both internally within the company as well as externally to clients and environmental authorities.

What does this have to do with HCRQ?

• The definitions of safety, accident, and those of accident severity levels include environmental components.
• The Corporate Environmental Policy is often referred to in the System Safety Management Plan.
